PhD Conference on Economics and Business

We are pleased to publish a paper by notable economists Emeritus Professors Ken Clements and Bob Gregory on the PhD Conference in Economics and Business. The conference has now been running for more than 30 years and now includes six of the Go8 universities across Australia. The paper shows the success of the conference as helping promising young economists with their research and highlights some of the presenters who have gone on to senior leadership positions.

 The Economic Society’s WA Branch is proud to support such a great initiative, and looks forward to it continuing into the future.
