Registrations are now open for 2018 WA Economics Forum. The event will be held at the Curtin University Graduate School of Business Function Room, 78 Murray Street Perth on Tuesday 31 July 2018.
Keynote speakers including:
Professor Rodney Tyers - UWA Business School
Mr Cameron Parrotte - Executive General Manager, Western Australia, Australian Energy Market Operator
Mr Alan Langford - Chief Economist, Strategy, Bankwest
Mr Ryan Buckland - Senior Consultant, ACIL Allen Consulting
Ms Nicky Cusworth - Chair, Economic Regulation Authority.
The Forum will be facilitated by Ms Erin Stone, ESA WA Vice President.
The theme of the forum is “The State of the Global Economy; Secular Stagnation, Disruption, Opportunity”. The forum also features a panel session that will focus on the contribution of economics at the global and State level and that of economists in shaping the world we live in.
Panel members are Emeritus Professor Harry Bloch, Curtin University, Professor Alan Duncan, Director, Bankwest Curtin Economics Centre and Bankwest Professor of Economic Policy, Curtin University and Mr Richard Watson, Executive Director, Economic Business Unit, WA Treasury. The panel session will be chaired by Ms Sally McMahon who is also chair of the WA Women in Economics Network.
As numbers are strictly limited, please register early to avoid disappointment. Registrations close Friday 27 July 2018.

All prices include morning and afternoon tea and a Smörgåsbord lunch at the Miss Maud Restaurant.
