The Society’s Annual General Meeting will be convened at 5:30 pm Wednesday 14th August 2019 at the Rambla on the Swan Restaurant, 39/85 South Perth Esplanade, South Perth: http://ramblaonswan.com.au/.
A copy of the agenda and minutes from last year’s AGM (Attachment 1) are available for download here. Attached to the agenda is a copy of the minutes from last year’s AGM (Attachment 1) and a copy of the minutes of the Special General Meeting convened on Tuesday 19 February 2019 (Attachment 2).
Nominating for the WA Council and for Executive Positions
If you would like to nominate to join the WA Council of the Economic Society, you can do so by emailing Jill Trinh: admin@esawa.org.au by Monday 12th of August 2019.
Similarly, if you would like to nominate for an executive position on that council (e.g. President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer), you can also nominate by email to admin@esawa.org.au. Nominations can then be ‘seconded’ at the AGM.

The AGM will be followed by networking and the WA Branch’s annual dinner. The dinner, which will commence at 6:30 pm, will feature the awarding of the Society’s prizes for academic excellence in 2018. It, therefore, gives me great pleasure in confirming the Society’s prize winners as follows:
