About Policy in the Pub: In achieving our objectives, we have recently increased our focus on the application of economic theory in a wide variety of public and private contexts. As part of this focus, we have established a series of events for professional economists, policy-makers and advisors. The ‘Policy in the Pub’ series is an informal bi-monthly event providing an opportunity to participate in discussion about topical economic issues. It is co-sponsored by the Economic Society of Australia and Women in Economics Network’s WA Branch.
