About Policy in the Pub:&nbsp\;In achieving our objectives\, we have recently increased our focus on the application of economic theory in a wide variety of public and private contexts. As part of this focus\, we have established a series of events for professional economists in Government and advisory roles\, &lsquo\;Policy in the Pub&rsquo\;. The &lsquo\;Policy in the Pub&rsquo\; series is an informal bi-monthly event providing an opportunity to participate in discussion about topical economic issues. It is co-sponsored by the Economic Society and Women in Economics Network&rsquo\;s WA Branch.
