As part of our newest series of events\, we are pleased to invite you to hear from Daniel Kennedy\, Intelligent Process Automation Manager at St John of God Healthcare.
Daniel graduated from the University of Essex and went on to become an Associate member of then CIMA\, now Chartered Global Management Accountants. In the UK\, he worked for HSBC\, Coca-Cola Enterprises\, Mars\, and London Underground\, before migrating with his Australian wife to Perth\, where he has worked for Western Power\, Verve\, Synergy\, and currently for St John of God Health Care Inc. He has held roles in traditional accounting and financial management areas of public and private sector organisations\, but has always focussed on business process effectiveness and efficiency improvements including technology\, people and processes. Over his career\, Daniel has projects and latterly programs of business process improvement projects including Robotic Process Automation.
Daniel will be talking to us about artificial intelligence and the impact of technology in health care.

About Policy in the Pub:&nbsp\;In achieving our objectives\, we have recently increased our focus on the application of economic theory in a wide variety of public and private contexts. As part of this focus\, we have established a series of events for professional economists\, policy-makers and advisors. The &lsquo\;Policy in the Pub&rsquo\; series is an informal bi-monthly event providing an opportunity to participate in discussion about topical economic issues. It is co-sponsored by the Economic Society of Australia and Women in Economics Network&rsquo\;s WA Branch.
