In his presentation titled\, "When Economics Meets Politics: Applying Economic Principles in Government"\, Colin&nbsp\;will reflect on how economic ideas inform real-world policy decisions.
Drawing on his experience as a former Premier and senior minister\, including in Treasury and State Development\, Colin will discuss how economic principles shaped key policy choices in government.
He will explore examples such as Commonwealth&ndash\;State financial relations\, the GST\, and broader questions about the role of economic analysis in public decision-making.
